Now that I have the attention of every male on here :lol!: , has anyone noticed that every second profile you look at say on myspace for example that belongs to a woman states that she is either bi or not sure of her sexuality?

Just wondering if it is simply a case of it being more acceptable in todays society, a ploy to attract a mans attention or a sign of women finally feeling confident enough in their own minds to throw caution to the wind and leap into the unknown.

** Please no flaming here; some of my best friends are gay or bi and it's an issue I get quite sensitive and protective over **

Is it now abnormal to be a straight woman?

Haven't taken any notice to be honest although I did go through a phase on myspace where I was getting messaged by alot of bi women. I'd say it's more a reflection on todays society and people being more comfortable and open about things that have traditionally been kept behind closed doors.

I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of women who proudly claim to be bi do so only to capture the attention of the male population at large. Done for shock value and titilation.

Well my belief is that we all have the tendancies even if it's just for a glimmer of a moment compared to the whole of our lives & have a bi moment... it's only natural love is love & the line crossed over in distinction can be crossed.

I don't know why someone would lie about it though, that makes no sense whatsoever to me.

oHhooo nice controversial topic Max

Really who gives a flying f*ck?

Love is love. Attraction is attraction. A cheat is a cheat. Pretty simple to me.

Go Mish

As I said I take it very personally having lost a dear friend recently who was outly and proudly bi, and a more lovely person you would never meet. I do however agree that the actual label is too constricting. Experimentation does not make you gay or bi in my book. And I don't classify someone who has a 3some experience and goes with the flow to be bi either. It is after all just another label.

I agree. The only labels we need are the one's we give ourselves. Without experimentation growth is slower... Oh I'm not suggesting everyone get out there & jump into bed with someone of the same sex either... Life is too short, enjoy it to it's full, in my book.

I'd jump into bed with just about anyone right about now. Been so long I can't almost remember back that far. A new thread maybe :lol!: . How long since you last got any.

What sex life. Sighs.

The only men that seem to chat me up these days are fresh out of puberty it seems. What on earth do I have in common with someone in their late teens or early 20s'.

I still think it's just a cry for attention.

"LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME"

Those truely bisexual would most likely be too embarassed to reveal such a trait on a public forum. I notice not one lady who has commented thus far has stood up and declared herself to be either straight or bi. I'm 100% straight and proud of it.

I'm straight. Everybody happy now? The only reason people born bi or gay would feel ashamed or embarassed is the threat of being ridiculed by the small majority of narrow minded bigots that still seem to exist!

I don't have a problem with someones sexuality. What always makes me wonder is why it is acceptable (or more acceptable) for two women to be together than it is for two males?

I think it's a guy thing. They get off on the thought of two women together but there male homophobic egos can't quite go that extra mile and relate to the thought of two guys together .

Your sexuality is YOUR business & whether your gay, straight or "bi" it makes no difference to me. How you treat people though... now that's a different topic all together! I do though think society is still in decline as far as acceptability goes where it comes to men being "bi curious"

I find it weird that. What's good for one gender should be good for the other surely? Guess it goes against the macho male stereotype though. You have to be either the 'he-man' or the 'fag' and nothing in between. Sorry about the termonology; was just using it to reference my point.

At the end of the day it is simply another label society sees fit to place on people. I rank it up there with the colour of someones skin, or their political or religious preferances. It has no reflection whatsoever on their depth of character for christsake.

Bottom line, you love who you love.

well i am truely bisexual, in fact i consider myself a lesbian who occasionally drift towards men....

female sexuality is complex, but in my experience most straight women have pondered the thought, and most would enjoy given the chance. They fear the taboo...

but sensual moments between two relaxed females is just wow, no rush, mutual understanding of what is needed for WOW orgasms...

I highly recommend,,, less mess, and more pleasure... cleaner... just wow x
