I know quite a few of us have myspace profiles, and the majority of us haven't logged into them in a substantial period of time. Is the lure of myspace over and done with, or has the likes of Bebo and Facebook simply taken the gloss off something that was once such a favourite pastime? I don't do the chatroom thing myself, and until today have never contributed to forum boards either. Is Facebook the way of the future or simply another passing phase?

I can't go back there yet, but I will when the time is right. Never heard of Bebo and having taken one quick squiz at Facebook I decided it was way too complicated for my limited pc knowledge. I like the layout of myspace and ease of use but is it just me that has problems with it crashing all the time? And the stalkers. Am I the only one that can attract the bunny boilers?

Hugs to you Ant. The myspace glitches are legendary I think, but I do prefer the layout of the site. Friends tell me that facebook is quite easy once you get the hang of it, but I find it a bit obtrusive that everyone can see each and every move you seem to make on there. And yes, I think you and the bunny boilers are almost as legendary as the myspace glitches!

Bunny boilers, regardless of gender, are just an unfortunate part of the net I'm afraid. Personally I love myspace, but haven't been on much of late courtesy of work hours and everyone jumping the sinking ship. I'd like to think that the passion I felt for the site when I first joined can be recaptured and rebuilt as I've got alot of fun memories of the place, and personally facebook leaves me cold.

Can take it or leave it. Think it might have alot to do with Benj & Dave not lurking round there at present. Their sparring/surveys/comments kinda kept me going back there purely for the entertainment value alone. Never been on the other two sites but at least myspace was user friendly for those not quite so pc literate as others. :lol!: at Ant and his bunny boilers. They weren't sporting goth makeup and an evil sneer by any chance were they?

I went and had a look at facebook today (alright I was at work but it was my coffee break honestly). Lasted all of about 5 minutes. Couldn't even make my way through the registration process without getting an anxiety attack. Then again I'm the only person I know that doesn't have msn or yahoo and needs her 10 year old to reprogram the tv!

| Myspace was the first site that I felt touched on what I was looking for online... I tend to agree with Luka, I was there for the sparing entertainment more than anything else "besides the fact that I was running the agency with good feedback through the site, it's so widely known & used, that's the big attraction I suppose" I'm no longer involved in the business promotion side so have lost all interest since the delightful & effevescant Naomi stopped partaking... I've since come across Facebook & at first I was highly skeptical & warranted you need to have an already established base to actually join any of the applications, but once I bribed my friends to join I found an application called Human Pets & have found it the most friendly place on the net so far... ok perhaps overly friendly lol it definately isn't for everyone! but I like it, I'm just a friendly type of girl what can I say lol I've also created my own little group of friends & have honesty & tacklessness on my side & getting rid of :finger: idiots lol "lovin these icons" you get to build & design your own shop & the sky is the limit on the content. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :P I do enjoy it, but I am losing interest with it of late & am glad to be a part of this forum, because I know "not all would granted" what type of people I'm mixing with & know that the fun is as BIG as you can possibly fathom in possibility. But in all seriousness. I like the closeness & honesty, it's personal. I like that. I think facebook will fade into the distance eventually, as has Myspace... I'm no longer a member & have no real interest in going back... As they say, I've moved onto bigger & more personally suited things right here. :hrt:

Forget myspace, I'm lovin my new icons pmsl. In a totally masculine, not interested in girlie shit type of way Thanks for all your effort this morning trying to help me find some Sair but they have to be saved in a different format to load across so we lost the cuffs and the dancing condom and the rest into the cyber abyss. Just have to use them on msn to annoy the crap outta everyone instead. they're mine. I'm keeping em dammit.
