Myspace - Is the appeal still there?

It seems complicated, for sure @ facebook, but it settles down after you've gotten used to it & know that the applications are all optional & saying ignore is quite acceptable. The fact that people send you dozens of them a week is quite annoying though, but there's a magic button that deletes all waiting apps hehe

I mainly go into an application called Human Pets & it's the friendliest site on the net I've found so far. I guess everyone seems to have the same sights in mind, to earn points so they can post comments on eachothers pages, so you find that people don't really want to be obnoxious lol they have too much to lose, oh plus the fact that you need 5 friends before you can even add the application in the first place! So other than here, it's the only other interesting place online, for me. I've just redesigned my shop *yeah you get to host your own shop with pics that you receive the points that people pay for them!* & the theme is angels & fairies, I adore visual art, so I'm delighted to be able to put some of the most beautiful pics I've ever seen in there... :hrt:

I don't have trouble admitting I'm finding it very hard to log onto myspace and see Jen's profile looking up at me from my friends page. There is however quite a few people on there who I would like to keep in contact with, so it's just something I am going to have to deal with at some point in time.

Facebook? Confuses the hell out of me!

I empathise with you all completely on that front

I did a search looking for a friend I miss very much on myspace & came up empty

I think I've lost him & don't know how to find him again! Do you remember Ricardo? He was the first person to make one of my songs come to life & I treasure him, if you happen to come across him, please feel confident that you have my permission to give him my email address.

Myspace is pretty dead for me - I hardly ever log into it now. Have gone to facebook but its a pain as well - every time someone sneezed you get an email about it - so I spent an hour deleting almost every app I had there and left a couple of games and that it. Quitea few of the old chat forum gang for years ago are there - probably the only reason I got onto it. 8)

facebook is just too complicated. Kind of enjoying the laid back attitude of this place so more than happy to just hang round here for a while.
