Thanks for the welcome all. Yup Benj is who I mean - though never met her or Dave in real life, just through chat forums, and Dave via her myspace 8). I've known Naomi via the net for hrmm 3 years now I think? Hope to get down there soon and actually meet her face to face 8)

Other than that - well I play guitar as you might have guessed by the pic of the Ovation there (not that I have one - I have the cheap knock off - an Academy Applause - still a nice guitar - as well as a Sammick 12 string and my trusty old Strat classical). Can't read a bar of music, pretty average player lol - only brush with muso fame was in high school - had a little band - could never get a singer and one of the guys little sisters decided to sing - being seniors we paid out on her - these days she is a big name in the Country and Western circuits (both kinds of music 8p) - Gina Jefferies... fate farts in my general direction once more 8)

As for listening - anything - long as its not rap. I tend to go in phases - I'll spend a month listening to nothing but spanish guitar etc (cranking out the tunes from Chingon - Robert Rodriguez' band (film director who did stuff for the Kill Bill's, Once Upon a Time in Mexico etc) to dusting off my old trusty Black Sabbath cd's, Metallica of course, Green Day, anything where the band actually plays I guess - no boy band crap or voices produced by Stock Aitkin and Waterman ick! Love the classic bands like Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, Clapton etc as well.... basically old stuff lol...

Anyway thats me in a nutshell....

Nothing wrong with the old Samick's. Had a Samick Acoustic with in built pick up when I was a mentally disturbed teen; aka before I was lured to the dark side that is drumming.

You want to meet Dave and Benj in person mate? Be afraid; be very afraid lol. They are bad enough separately, let alone in the one place together and I should know after being stuck in a band with the two of em for over 10 years.
